A Glimpse into Our Past

Sue Shalley brought her sales and marketing expertise as Field Services Unlimited (FSU) expanded its services and client base through innovative strategies like cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and creative client engagement. Her hands-on, relationship-focused approach helped connect Field Services Unlimited with major national clients including Jack in the Box, ExxonMobil, Wendy’s, Jiffy Lube, Pizza Hut, and H&R Block.

As demand grew, so did our capabilities. Alongside Sue’s business development efforts, FSU began implementing advanced tools like laser scanners and CAD technology, further strengthening our position in the industry. These innovations, paired with our team’s dedication to accuracy and consistency, helped us serve clients across the country and become a trusted name in architectural and facility field work.

But the foundation of our story began even earlier.

FSU was founded in 1992 by Sue and Bob Shalley. With Bob’s background in architecture, engineering, and construction—and a passion for travel—FSU was created to offer reliable nationwide field evaluations, light-level readings, and punch list services. From the start, the company was built on strong client relationships and a deep commitment to quality, earning the trust of Fortune 500 clients and industry leaders alike.

That legacy of service, precision, and innovation continues today.

Looking forward, FSU remains committed to innovation and growth. We aim to expand by embracing new products and technologies while fostering an engaging, collaborative work environment. Our core values—integrity, accountability, service, success, and teamwork guide every decision we make. As we continue to evolve, the vision that Sue and Bob Shalley built still drives us. We are proud of our past, energized by the present, and inspired by the future of the AEC industry. Whether it's through advanced field documentation, BIM modeling, or expanding our nationwide services, FSU stands ready to deliver excellence with every project.
